JUMPfest: 2017

Illustration created as the official T-shirt design for the parkour event "JUMPfest/T.I.T. Jam 2017".

Working with the founder of the event, my goal was to create an image that would feel related to the previous year's shirt, while also standing alone as a minimal design that captured the essence of the "campfire" part of the event.

Context:
Having successfully designed and executed the T-shirt Illustration for the event JUMPfest 2016 (hosted by tranquil movement), I was approached by the client to design the T-shirt illustration for the subsequent 2017 event.

Objective:
I set out to create a unique design that would feel in essence similar to the 2016 design. A spiritual successor. My other goals entailed the merging of imagery related to the event itself and creating a character silhouette that didn’t overly appear to be a certain gender/ethnicity.
