Parkour Gym Etiquette Poster

A series of illustrations created for a poster design exemplifying etiquette dos and don'ts for gym patrons to keep in mind.

My goal with this series was to utilize storytelling in way that adults and children (mainly children) could both understand with or without the written descriptions.

Client: Origins Parkour

Parkour Gym Etiquette Poster

Context:
Vancouver, BC parkour gym “Origins Parkour” approached me to create a series of illustrations to be included on an etiquette poster that would be displayed in multiple locations inside the gym. As a comics artist and parkour athlete and fan of the Origins gym, I was very excited to be a part of this project.

Objective:
Although there would be accompanied text, and in an effort to communicate with the younger patrons (who the poster is more aimed towards) my goal was for the 6 illustrations to clearly read without words. This is something I strive towards in my comics work so I enjoyed this challenge a lot.
